Collections involving Kiosks
Collection Language
When performing a standard collection, the Collector is receiving their share of proceeds from a location. In the scenario where there is a redemption kiosk, now the collector is paying the location from the machine’s proceeds—the location no longer is responsible for handling the cash themselves.
When a collection is created for a location that is marked as having either a Redemption or Sweeps kiosk, the collection language on both the app and the web portal is changed to account for this difference in process. Now, the amount due to be paid to the location is listed.
Kiosk Events
When you are performing a collection on a location that has either a Primepay or Sweeps Kiosk service Activated, you will be presented with new options for ‘Kiosk Events’.
When you opt to add a Kiosk Event, you will first be required to take a photo of the kiosk’s current status report. Once you are satisfied with the image you can continue on to make your entries.
- Intial fill – This is only used at the time a kiosk is installed. The total amount of cash initially being entered into the device is listed here.
- Stacker status – This is the current value inside the kiosk’s stacker at the time of collection.
- Recycler – This is the current value inside the kiosk’s recycler at the time of collection
- Master Add – the amount of cash being added to the kiosk
- Master Bleed – In case the cassettes are full, and need to be reduced.
Please note that not all kiosks will utilize the exact same mechanics.
