System Settings > Backup

Online/Offline

If a location does not have an internet connection, then the device is left ‘offline’. The device will need backups to be performed manually, and all receipt details will need to be manually defined.
Location to Associate

Check

When this is selected the chosen location name’s data will be pulled fresh, but no cash or card history will be pulled with it. This is for locations that are having their first install or want to start with a new local record.

Recycle

If a location is having their POS updated or replaced, then this is used to fetch all of the locations data to the new unit being placed (the backup is restored).

X

Remove the currently associated location from the POS unit.

Auto remove backup

This is the amount of days that POS backups will be saved on the device.

Create Backup

When this is pressed a backup will be created and uploaded to the server if associated with a location entry on TrueRoute.com

Select Source – POSPi / USB

This allows you to select where you want to restore a backup from. If you have a backup file on a USB flash drive, you can connect the drive and restore from the device. Otherwise when the POSPi is selected you can see all backups currently available to restore.

List of Available Backups

Recycle

This will restore that backup and overwrite all current data on the POS unit.

USB

This will allow you to save that particular backup file to a USB flash drive.

System Settings > System Mode

System Mode

Standard

This is to use the system under ‘regular functionality’.

Basic

‘Basic Mode’ will automatically redeem all sessions sent from machines as a virtual ‘award’ category. No advanced actions like transfers or split redemptions can be performed when this is activated.

TITO

If the machines are going to print scannable/insertable receipts with a fan-fold paper format, then this will be enabled. Otherwise cashout events will be sent straight to the POS.

If player cards wish to be used by the location, then this will be enabled.

PrizePal

If the location wishes to allow players to use the PrizePal app as virtual player cards, then this will be enabled.

Manually close period

This is used in conjunction with the Activity > Periodic History list view. If a location is in Georgia, and you do not want to use the standard GA ‘week’ definition of Sunday 5am>Sunday 4:59am, then you would toggle this On. When this is Toggled On the POS admin will now have the ability to manually close the period.

System Settings > Reset

Reboot system

Just what it says–when pressed a system shutdown and restart will be performed.

Reset device / Reset Player cards

Also, just what it says–when you enter your PIN all data will be wiped and the system will be as new. This does not affect server side data.

If you choose to reset player cards, then all accounts will be brought to zero, however no cards will be removed.

Disable holds & cards for cashier
