POS History & Reports
History
Each transaction that occurs on the POS is logged here, and listed in reverse chronological format (newest at the top, oldest at the bottom). It can be filtered by taping any cell in the table that has a small blue bar at the bottom of the cell. If you tap a cell that contains a ‘Cash Out’ value and then a date, then you will be filtering all Cash out values that happened on that date. In order to revert to the default view just press the red ‘reset’ button in the upper right.
If you press the email button also in the upper right, then the current history view will be emailed to the current POS user.
Summary
The summary reports are all separated by period type–By day, by Week, by Month, and by Quarter. In each period you will be able to select which shift is desired (if no shifts have been defined, then this can be ignored). You can also filter a report by the user name, and only transactions they participated in will be output.
There are four types of reports, one of which is for TITO configured systems only.
- Simple – Just a quick report showing the cash in, cash out, value on hold, and value on accounts.
- Summary – A summary gives much more information than the simple report. You can see the in and out values for all machines connected, as well as all of the details about where cash came from, and where it went. The liability summary is here as well.
- Detail – This is an expanded Summary report in that it breaks down all cash in and cashout values for each and every machine.
- Countdown – This is for TITO installations only. This will give the person servicing the bill validators a count of what each bill and ticket should be.
Note: When a report prints for a period that you are inside of, such as printing a report for teh week that you are currently in, there will be an asterisk* at the end of the report title. This signifies in a report that the period being reported has not actually ended yet.
Periodic History
Each time that a location is collected upon a record of the activity shows here, reverse chronologically. This can give the location a quick look at the machine performance and how it affects their everyday business.
If a location is georgia based, then the system will populate entries automatically according to the states schedule.
